Hi,

Latest somewhat finished work I've done recently for a personal project. An opening in a cave to an alien world... Planning on doing a similar piece maybe withing those huge structures in the background.

I tried to explore more of the direct lighting and playing up the warm bouncing light.. also keeping things fairly loose. Painted in PS. C & C welcome!

cheers,

Created for gnomon forum august challenge, the queen. I wanted to create the old school fantasy look with muted colours and all. Though I think i spent way too trying to mimic traditional medium look. All painted in PS.

this was another entry to ChOW at conceptart.org "fallen valkyrie". I suppose I've never quite had done a piece with that much armour, so it was a great practice and fun!. I wanted to make her look a little uncomfortable, almost quirky but not sure how successful that was. All painted in PS and steps coming up.

Hi,

Here's a recent image I did for ChOW activity at conceptart.org, "death's horse". I guess everyone was doing the death grim and all I really didn't have a choice but to look for something slightly off the path. The idea is the horns carry a name tag, kinda like your soul as it comes and collects it.. or something along that line.

Painted in Photoshop and steps coming up!

cheers,

Castle Inanis

"Perched atop the harsh walls of the Tamoe mountain range, the castle Inanis overlooks the blistering deserts of Aranoch. Its gates are only accessable via the trecherous slopes through blistering heat, and are plagued with creatures as brutal as the land that birthed them."

This was done for blizzard contest.. I sort of wanted to push the strong constrast of blues and oranges.. c&c most welcome, cheers, Min

I wanted to paint a beautiful female character, with a little twist, and concentrate on my rendering skills. So here's my stab at it. C&C welcome!
